Open Level Routine

Fringe Festival - Reprisal of “Black Bottom”

In this session, we’ll be reprising our “Black Bottom” routine to perform at Groove Juice Swing’s Roaring 20s Time Machine dance as part of the Rochester Fringe Festival.

Please note the class times in the description below as it is different than most of our usual routines!

Class Details:

  • Open Level: All are welcome, no audition required. Find out more about our levels here.

  • Chorus Line: This routine has feminine styling, both in dance movement and costuming. Find out more about our styles here.

  • $90 for 6-week session ($15 per class).

  • 6 weeks of rehearsals, Tuesdays, 6:30pm - 7:30pm, August 18 - September 22.

  • 1 performance, between  7:0pm - 11:00pm on Friday, September 25.

  • Rehearsal location: The Rose Room, 295 Gregory Street, Rochester, NY

  • If the cost of class or costumes is prohibitive for you, please send us a message and we can discuss options!

  • Please note that this session needs 4 registrants in order to run. If that doesn’t happen, this session will be cancelled and any payments will be refunded in full.

  • Heeled character shoes

  • Leotard

  • Fishnet tights

  • Red lipstick

  • Guidelines for style and colors of these costume items will be provided before rehearsals begin!

Audition Level Routine

Fringe Festival - Reprisal of “Night Train”

In this session, we’ll be reprising our “Night Train” routine and learning a short new routine to perform at The Nocturne Club as part of the Rochester Fringe Festival.

Auditions for this session are virtual only.

  • Chorus Line: This routine has feminine styling, both in dance movement and costuming. Find out more about our styles here.

  • $90 for 6-week session ($15 per class).

  • 6 weeks of rehearsals, Thursdays, 8:15pm - 9:15pm, August 20 - September 24.

  • 1 performance, 7:0pm - 8:00pm on Saturday, September 26.

  • Rehearsal location: Highland Hall, 395 Gregory Street, Rochester, NY

  • 9 weeks, Tuesdays, 7:00pm-8:15pm

    New routine. Performance on December 12 at Groove Juice Swing.

Audition Level - Thursdays

  • 12 weeks, Thursdays, 7:00pm-8:15pm

    New routine. Performance on November 20 at Stompology.

    More information coming soon. Registration will open in July.

Private Lessons

Private lessons from Jasmine are available, regardless if you’ve taken a Reverie Chorus Line or Reverie Jazz Troupe class before or not! If you’re interested in private lessons, please get in touch so we can discuss what you’re looking for.

Pricing:

$75 per hour for instruction

$20-35 per hour for studio rental (depending on location)

Discounts are available for current Reverie Chorus Line or Reverie Jazz Troupe students.
